Can we keep him?

I was just doing fine as frog hair, when Josh came into the studio and discovered this cute little froggie in my window well. He decided to go and catch him...he is so toadally a boy! It took him a few tries but he got him... little froggie is a pretty good little leaper! Josh then decided that I needed an up close and personal look at him and brought the little froggie in my studio. I'm not a must love frogs kinda gal... and my biggest fear is that he would play leap frog off of Josh's hand while we were taking the pictures and he would be unfrogetable! It would have been like frogs gone wild...then I would have been able to tell Josh... I toad you so! There was not a frog in my throat... I was ribbiting pretty good to get little froggie out of my studio... NOW! It made me a very hoppy mommy when he finally did!

Logan Temple

This picture was on the front page of The Herald Journal on Sunday...
The caption under the picture read:

Patrons walk outside the Logan Temple past a "Thou Shalt Not Park Here" sign posted near an area undergoing renovations. The signs were purchased by John Hansen, building engineer of the temple, through a catalog company a number of years ago and are routinely moved from place to place on the property as needed.

HJ Air Traffic Control

Welcome to my desk... everyone at work is calling me "Herald Journal Air Traffic Control" or "Herald Journal Mission Control"... I feel like that with 3 computers on my desk... it's crazy. My "old" computer on the left crashed the ad taking software back in January so I was unable to do anything with "classified ads" on that computer, but it had all of my "stuff" that I needed on a daily basis on it... so everyone has been used to seeing 2 computers... but when I added the third one... they had to give me a hard time. The one with the Cowboys screen saver is my new "big screen" at the office. Complete with a new classified program. I am in the process of transferring all of my "stuff" to my new big screen... but we are having issues with a PC/Mac not getting along! Hopefully by the first of January... I will be down to 1... yea!

Rainbow

What a wonderful way to end the day.
Josh came and told me that there was a rainbow...
I thought he was kidding me... but this was my view from the deck.
I loved standing in the rain... watching this beautiful sight!
Thanks Josh!

Dad and the Suicidal Bambi...

Dad's white Micro-bus... aka... the minivan.. Ouch!
The drivers front quarter panel
Some of the "hide and blood" yuck!
The front bumper... more blood spatter...
Dad and Milt were on their way to Deep Creek to go fishing this morning... when this deer came "flying" out of nowhere and decided to take on the Micro-Bus. Thank goodness both of them were both wearing their seat belts...and neither of them were hurt!

Football

The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling...
but in rising again after you fall!
-Vince Lombardi

So for the 2009 NLF kickoff... may the best team win!

Softball

Cory Boehme with the hit...
Payden "Paydo" Wildman - he's so awesome!
Joshua "JR" Stead... Making the play!

It's hard to believe that softball season is over. The Underdogs lost in the semi-final playoff game last night. Josh has been giving Paul Davis and Shawn Harrison a hard time about the "big" game. We all thought it would be a Underdog vs .The Herald Journal in the finals... one of the teams made it. Go HJ!
