I have had the best birthday ever! It's been 3 days of celebration! Friday - co-workers all wishing Happy Birthday thoughts - balloons - butterflys and Eli Lucero even sang Happy Birthday to me! Saturday - My Aunt Peggy and I went to lunch at Chili's - Fajitas and chocolate molten cake - uummmm Then it was off to deliver Mother's Day gifts (see my craft blog) to family and friends. I was lucky to spend special time with Peggy and Bob, Aunt Char - Carol - Nicky - Lori - Terri and Vickie and my sweet little sister, Nancy, (okay those of you who don't know me very well probably don't know that I am an only child) - and (those of you who do know me... are wondering how I have a sister) Nancy and I grew up in Lamplighter together... and she has been the little sister I never had - for now over 30 years! It was so awesome to spend time "chatting" with you all! Sunday - Josh and I went to church with my mom. Then back to their house for dinner - cake and gifts! I have been so spoiled with all of the birthday wishes... I am truly blessed to have the best son - parents - family and friends a girl could ever ask for!

Logan Temple

This picture was on the front page of The Herald Journal on Sunday...

The caption under the picture read:

Patrons walk outside the Logan Temple past a "Thou Shalt Not Park Here" sign posted near an area undergoing renovations. The signs were purchased by John Hansen, building engineer of the temple, through a catalog company a number of years ago and are routinely moved from place to place on the property as needed.

I decided to jump off the freeway and head into Twin Falls and see the Temple. This was the first time I had been in the area since it was completed. It was hard to take a good picture since there is a 4 lane road in front and no parking... it was just beginning to sprinkle when I took these pictures. What a beautiful Temple!

It was a beautiful night... not too cold... and not too many people!

President Koyle

On Friday, Josh had his first Mission Reunion. Josh spent 11 months with President Koyle and his wife Pam in the New Mexico Albuquerque Mission. President Brent H. Koyle, has been called to serve as the Temple President and Sister Pam Koyle will be the Temple Matron of the South Carolina, Columbia Temple. Josh was excited to get to see his old companions... this is Mikey Su'a the first missionary Josh met in Albuquerque.
